The frieze below the clock with court scene, a gowned lady pleading for mercy from a king with outstretched arm and lancet, a branding fire smoldering behind her, and three warriors with shields standing to the right. Condition: the well made movement with countwheel bell strike (nice star in countwheel), round with a flat spot on the bottom. The white porcelain dial with very minor scratch in the center and very minor chip at the left winding hole, maker's signature in red and still visible. Height 20.2 inches
