Condition: the case has an old and possibly original finish; there is some open grain. The carved top trim piece is new, well made, but perhaps not to the most ideal design. The well made movement has five wheels in the train and winds to the left. The 2-piece, silvered brass dial bears the dame S. Detter, in Wien, re-applied when the dial was refinished. It has a round, friction style beat set adjuster, and a delicate 4 spoke pulley. The pendulum has a steel rod, with some pitting; bob is brass both front and rear. Silvered style beat scale is absent from case. Top left corner nicked and re-glued. Height 44 inches
