Condition: Overall very good condition, the case has been attractively restored, slate slabs around the base re-glued, the case over-coated with a satin finish. The malachite inserts above and below the dial are especially nice, set off by floral incising. The movements appear to be clean and recently serviced. The calendar movement with moon dial works smoothly; the little cord or cable that should go from the lever on the movement to the lever on the calendar is missing, but that is easy to replace. There is a chip in the top crystal near 12 and a central chip in the barometer crystal. This is an impressive example with smooth, flowing lines. Width 21.5" Height 17 inches
