Condition: At some time the clock hung near a corner where the door was inconvenient opening from the left, and a good cabinet maker switched the hinges to the left, and took out the door lock (the hinges are original). Otherwise this clock is in excellent original condition, the original finish rubbed to a nice sheen. There are some minor scuffs on the pendulum bob, but no dents. Large lyre pendulum has wide oval rods, alternating nickel and brass color. Porcelain dial and music scroll hands are perfect. For literature, see Tran Ly's book titled Waterbury Clocks and Watches, pages 174 and No. 151;176; Ly price guide for 2001 = $15,000. Best part of this clock is an excellent original label inside the case bottom. Height 82 inches
