C.1885, Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Ct, Regulator No. 3, Strike, 2-weight, 8-day, in well figured mahogany. Condition: this striker is a hard model to find, and in this nice condition, even harder. The veneer is in good condition with original finish intact. Has a nice embossed and silvered beat scale in the case; bottom of case never broken out. Two brass sheathed weights are visible right and left during descent; strike weight is slightly larger. There is some flaking on the dial, near 1, 3 and 7, but about as good as you can expect for a Seth Thomas of this age. Full label in case bottom is now missing most of its gold printing. Height 44 inches
