C.1900 English, 8-day advertising wall timepiece "Black and Gold, the Aristocrat of Whiskies".

Condition: Mahogany bezel case in nice condition with original finish. The advertising plaque attached to the bottom of the case has had a small repair to the upper left corner (just where it attaches to the main case). The plaque with "the Aristocrat of Whiskies" is 100 years old, as is the dial, however, the name "Black and Gold" has been added more recently. The case back had failed at some point and been replaced, nicely done; the case has warped a small amount keeping the bottom access door from opening. Bezel latch missing. Case houses a spring drive brass movement. Height 22 inches Width of ad 23.2" Really has a lot of "Look"
