Condition: this clock has received considerable restoration. The top trim to the case has been cut from a solid block of walnut and painted with black lacquer; the case refinished to match. The rear door was made new around the same time, from pine, and painted black to match. The silk thread pendulum is a modern replacement, and the block has not been fitted to the crutch; amazingly it still ticks. The original porcelain dial has numerous hairline cracks. Alarm train intact, but the set hand is missing. The nicely fretted hands are original. Height 25.2 inches, 64cm
