C.1890, Austrian, 2-Weight Vienna Regulator in a light walnut Alt Deutsch style case, with a movement from another clock. Condition: although the clock has been hanging idle for many years, the movement is complete and sound, ticks and strikes, will need cleaning. The attractive case has half reeded columns with Corinthian capitals and retains its matching top. There are 4 extra holes in the case back indicating a movement change, however, this movement will keep time in this case. The original finish has not been stripped, but has been wire wooled and is dull; needs some additional polishing to bring it back to life. Old pulleys do not match. Grommets missing.
