Condition: Overall good condition, the mahogany veneer over pine case in generally sound condition, with several veneer chips around the perimeter of the octagon, but the original finish intact. The large and robust chain fusee movement requires a pendulum around 5 inches longer than the one provided (we moved it down for the case foto). It should be relatively simple to lengthen the brass rod. One of the 8 bells was replaced with another with wrong note, so that two of the bells now ring the same note..this will require a little more searching to cure. The painted dial has an unreadable name near 12, and the city of Birmingham above 6. This is a large and very heavy clock, and will require special shipping. Height 32.5 inches
