C.1855, Austrian, 30-Day, late Biedermeier, Vienna Regulator, in a rosewood case, the well made movement with pie crust bezel, seconds hand and Harrison style maintaining power. Condition: both top return moldings have been replaced with molding from another piece of furniture, and do not quite match. At some time, someone added a suspension point at the top rear of the case, however, it is most recently moved to the top of the mounting bracket where it belongs. The dial is perfect; seconds and minute hand are original; old hour hand is slightly later. Original bob is brass on both sides. There was some type of little carved top trim that is absent.
