Condition: this clock reportedly came from a school maintenance office in Lowell, and has been refinished; has the brass number 6 on the door. The original dial is quite good for a Seth Thomas, just some flaking around the seconds bit hole; and some various scratches. Bezel is made of sectioned, quartered oak, rather than veneer and is quite attractive. There is a little bit of veneer missing along the edge of the "bowtie". Has a fair label still showing in the bottom of the case. Pulley is for a banjo, proper No. 2 models are available from Timesavers. The maintenance man also put the mounting bracket in with machine screws, which can be left or changed back. See also lot 374. Height 36 inches
