Condition: Overall very good condition, this movement appears to be a factory adaptation to this use. For instance the porcelain dial at top says "R-A", yet there was never a hole for a f/s adjuster. The rear plate has 3 holes for a bell standard, however there was never anything in the holes. The dial plate is cut for 2 movement straps, but there is No way to attach straps with this bezel, nor any spare holes to show they were removed. So we present the clock as a unique curiosity of good quality and certainly very impressive when running with the mercurial pendulum. Movement with unique side mounting is definitely original to the case, which has worm damage in the door and top trim (some losses will need filling). Also 2 small circular trims missing from the top, case back warped. Height 35 inches
