Condition: other than lacking its round glass dome, this clock is in fine original condition. Derek Roberts, in his book Continental and American Skeleton Clocks, devotes a chapter to this type of clock, and on page 143, fig 135 is a clock that most closely approximates the fine work on this clock. Each wheel in the train has a slightly different spoke pattern, with the escape wheel spokes in the pattern of a star. Pillars also have a delicate pattern. Height 13.7 inches, 35cm
