Condition: the gilding on the case is still relatively good, some streaks, and weak on the sides and rear. A little acorn to the right of the books has been added to fill a hole, and the top finial to the inclinometer is now a brass ball. The book case itself is excellent, and the dial is also nice, some hairlines at 1 and 9. The well made silk thread susp movement (signed as in headline) needs a pendulum. The bell is now from an alarm clock, hands do not match, but French style replacements are available from Timesavers in Arizona. Worth the restoration effort. Height 14.5 inches
