Condition: the case and frame are in exceptional condition. The movement is in running order, however, the gong has been replaced with a small French job that is inappropriate, and also the Geneva stopwork removed from both trains. Minor hairline in dial near 5. These clocks were at the height of fashion in the first quarter of the 1800s, and are under-appreciated today. See a similar example in Kaltenbock's book, Viennese Timepieces, (1993)page 176. Height 20 inches
