Condition: Porcelain case in excellent condition with some very minor wear to the applied gold. Very attractive and unusual artist signed pheasant image painted on the case (A. Hofmann). Original porcelain dial has small hairline cracks at 4, 8 and 10 o'clock, barely noticeable in foto.. Hands are original. Movement is signed. We hope our estimate is conservative on this clock, since Mr. Ly assigns a substantial premium for signed paintings. See his Ansonia book, page 607. This clock came from the Maryland Historical Society. Height 11.75 inches
