C.1900, German for the French Market, oak cased Westminster chime wall clock with fancy porcelain dial and hands. Condition: the oak case is in very good original condition with 9 panes of beveled glass. The well made and robust Junghans movement chiming the quarters and then counting the hours at the beginning of each hour. Pull strings are present for shutting of the chime and strike during the night. This carved case would likely have been made to match parlor furniture of the day. There is a vertical dry split in the case back. Brass Junghans logo attached to case back. Height 35 inches
