Condition: Walnut veneered case in very nice condition with an old finish; and with multi-color cross-band inlay. There is a small veneer chip on the curved bottom. The engraved brass dial is very clean with a few minor scratches; note it is uncommon to find a brass dial on such a model. The lacquer on the dial has turned dark. Hands are original. American movement is not signed, but looks like one made by Welch. Cutout insert in the door needs a small piece added to make it high enough to properly fit the opening. Height 26.5 inches
