C.1905, American Cuckoo Clock Co., Philadelphia, PA, 30-hour, large cuckoo and quail wall clock (quarter striker). Condition: Carved grapes and leaves case in very nice condition with no visible damage and with an original finish. Eagle top is beautifully carved and has never been broken. Carved hour hand is original. Minute hand has been repaired and maybe an old replacement as it rather thin. Pendulum is original. Three-train brass movement is unmarked, but is of cast plate construction. Case retains original bellows, but the leather will need replacing (rubber bands around them). Nice label on the back. Is running and tries to strike and will respond well to normal cuckoo attention. From an Old Timer in central Mass. Height 22 inches
