Condition: Black marble in good condition with a small chip on the upper left corner and on the left side bottom edge. Some of the original gilding remains in the incised design in the case. Porcelain dial is perfect and hands are original. Beveled door glass is perfect. Pendulum is missing. One of the jewels in the exposed Brocot escapement is broken away and will need replacing; the escape wheel has been tied to prevent run-on. Springs are both good and movement is otherwise complete and sound. Height 9.75 inches
