22 October 2024
Condition: Refinished mahogany veneered case in good condition with some veneer loss on the base and a couple of chips on rest of the case. Original dial is nice, however the center hole has been enlarged to show the movement (nicely done, but not original). Hands are period and look to be original. Bottom glass is a decent repro. Entire top is dreadful, however can be replaced. Case originally had ball feet. Gong base is not original. Weights are not original. Label is good. The heavy strap brass movement is the same as in lot 119. Ht 35.25" [89.5 cm]
