C.1833, Jeromes and Darrow, Bristol, 30-hour time/strike wood movement shelf clock, as-found. Condition: Mahogany veneered and stenciled case in good condition with some veneer loss on the base, but with original stencils and finish. Original painted dial is in nice condition with original hands. Mirror is original but has a piece missing on the left side and a small crack at the top center. Most of the label is missing, but the impression left on the wood appears to read Darrow as one of the names. Looking at the movement from below, one can see several teeth missing from the strike side great wheel. Ht 35" [88.9 cm]
