Condition: Refinished mahogany case is in generally good condition. The flat veneer on the top and bottom door that supports the glass looks to have been replaced. The columns are now covered in gold paint. The bottom set of columns look to be upside down. Eagle splat has repairs to the left wing. Bottom tablet is nicely done, but is a replacement. Center glass is original, but is cracked, now with protective glass cover. Original painted dial has stress cracks in the paint and the grommets for the winding holes are missing. Large strap brass movement is original and signed. Label inside case is a little dark but readable; has been varnished over. Iron weights are replacements. Ht 38.5" [97.7 cm]
