Condition: Mahogany veneered case with remains of an old finish in good condition with some veneer loss and chips especially on the bottom. Some veneer has been replaced on the upper door and the bone lock inserts on both doors are missing. Original dial is in pretty good condition with some wear to the numbers. Gilt areas on the case are worn and will need attention. The two caps on the chimneys are upside down. Case houses a nice Ives roller pinion movement with pewter winding drums. The top glass and bottom tablet are missing. Case retains original dust covers. Hands appear to be original, but the hour hand needs a new tin collar to fit to the hour pipe. Ht 36" [91.4cm]
