Condition: Refinished mahogany veneered case in good condition with a couple of chips on both doors and a couple of small spots on the case. Original painted dial is pretty clean with one small area near 10 o'clock and wear to the numbers. Mirror that slides behind the dial to view the escapement is missing. Hands and mirror are original. Clock originally had ball shape feet, now absent. Bottom tablet is a replacement. Top side returns are missing. This movement is pictured in Roberts' book on Ives, page 110, having plates tapered at top and with large embossed gear wheels with round cut outs. Ht 36" [91.4 cm]
