Condition: Refinished mahogany veneered case in very good condition with a small veneer repair to both doors. All of the door glasses have been replaced. This movement has an alarm with original setting disc (worn). The dial has a cutout just below 12'o'clock that is very old with a mirror insert that is a replacement that does not seem to serve any purpose. Carved paw feet look fine and the carved splat has small piece missing on one of the carved leaves (filled with putty). Pendulum is not original. Door knobs are replaced; 1-period wt, one modern. Notice tigering in columns; Seth Thomas was known for that. Lots of potential for an uncommon 8-day clock. Ht 37" [93.9 cm]
