Mid 19th Century, French or Swiss, Clock in the form of a Cathedral complex, a mirrored pond in front of the church, formerly with music box, now absent. Condition: the small time only, 8-day, platform movement is sound and ticking; 1 3/4" porcelain dial is in good condition, small hairline by winding arbor; movement is perhaps 40 years later than the case. The brass case is made up of several pieces, both screwed and soldered together, and is all old, with some losses; the base, simulating stone foundation is a heavy brass casting, well chased.
