Condition: Cast figural case is in generally good condition, now brushed over with gold paint. Missing pieces include 2 stylized leaves held in place right and left base by the turned "finial", and Diana is missing her bow. Also front foot is bent inward. Original porcelain dial is chipped around the winding arbors. The minute hand is a replacement. Movement is signed. The strike bell and pendulum are replacements. This clock was retailed by Mitchell Vance and Co., N.Y. See also lot 524, in better condition. Ht 20" [50.8 cm]
