Condition: Cast Iron front case with some remains of the original design under a dark finish and over-painting. Damaged center painted area was poorly restored. Original dial has had some touchups and minor paint loss. Movement has an interesting stamped front frame that reads: "A. S. Platt and Co., Bristol, for C. Jerome, New Haven". Platt made movements exclusively. This is the FIRST movement Chris has seen by Platt, marked for someone. Old hands are not original. Ht 18" [45.7 cm]
