Condition: Ebonized case in very good condition with some wear to the original finish and a couple of dings. Original porcelain dial is perfect and the hands are original. Original calendar rolls are soiled and age darkened. The day of the week roller has damage on the edges and in the center. Date ribbon is stopping out of phase with the day (now showing Mardi, 91, Octobre). Movement is marked Paris. Nice instruction label on the back in 5 languages. Last point: there is a 9" strip of wood missing that should serve as a handle to raise the glass for winding; one can be made. In nicer condition, these can bring $700. Ht 17" [43.1 cm]
