Condition: Refinished mahogany veneered case in very nice condition with some veneer loss on the cornice, minor damage on one corner and some small veneer chips on a couple of places on the case. Both glasses are original. Original painted and signed wooden dial has some minor paint flaking (good signature). The case houses a brass movement with lyre shaped front plate.. Nice label inside with an engraved image of the Forestville factory which burned in 1853. Ht 31.5" [80 cm]
