Condition: Mahogany veneered case in very nice condition that appears to have a newer coat of shellac or linseed oil over the original finish. There is a small metal strip on the base to repair damage to the door hinge pivot pin. Original tablet is in very fine condition with some minor flaking. Hands are original. There is a little damage to the tip of the eagle's left wing. The carved paw feet have been replaced; rest of case is overall very good original condition. Ht 39.5" [100.5 cm]
