Condition: overall excellent condition, clean and running. The most unusual parts of this clock are the original tablets of Venice, Italy. There was some paint loss, and the owner had Lee Davis do some professional repairs No. 151;they look fine. The original Chelsea movement bears serial number 93076, and with original iron weight that stops against the bottom of the movement. There has never been a baffle in the case, and the wooden pendulum stick hangs from a nice "T" joint. Pendulum tie down is used with pendulum un-hooked. The case is marked "1" in several spots. Note lower door is hinged at bottom, with friction latches at the top. And with original crank. Also with repair sticker dated 1937 from Wm Heine, Philadelphia. For reference, see Harris and Harrington catalog from Sept 1915, page 42, which shows this as model 3, and with the identical "Venice" tablets. Ht 37" [93cm]
