C.1894, Seth Thomas Clock Co., "JUPITER", 2-weight, 8-day wall clock in oak, rolling moon dial with bell strike. Condition: the case has been nicely refinished and top left finial replaced, and door glass re-newed. The lyre frame movement is clean and in good running order. The rolling moon retains excellent original paint. The dial is also original, but with wear at the attaching holes, other scratches and wear to the chapter ring from setting the time carelessly. Hands are original, but minute hand has been repaired. Pendulum stick has also been repaired. For reference, see Tran Duy Ly's book on Seth Thomas, 3rd Edition, pages 318-19.
