Condition: the heavy and well made mahogany case has been nicely refinished at some time. The large [13 x 19"]engraved dial with raised bronze numerals is in pretty good condition; the painted moon dial with wear and losses; note small subsidiary dials for chime/silent and Canterbury/Westminster chime. The original pendulum bob has some creases from being dropped and straightened, and the weights with some dings also. The well made movement with Graham dead beat escapement and maintaining power, chiming on 6 tubes for Canterbury and 4 tubes for Westminster, and striking the hours on a 7th. There is a heavy pane of beveled glass in the lower section of the front door; balance of glass is flat. Although ticking and chiming, movement will need some cleaning and adjusting. Ht 95" [243cm]
