Condition: Cast bronze case in very nice condition with much of the original gilding intact. Original porcelain dial is perfect and the hands are original. Movement is signed. An uncommon and very high quality Ansonia item, representing their best effort to copy a French clock. For reference, see Tran Ly's Ansonia book, page 398, figure 1545. The 2004 price update puts this model at $1500, and this one should qualify for top price. Ht 17.5" [44.4 cm]
