C.1891 [dated on dial], Prucure Generale, Grand Sonnerie, 3-train Morbier, with 5 bells (ting tang quarters and hours, large bell for top of the hour). Condition: Somehow this clock got separated from its weights, however replacements are available from Timesavers or Merritts (be sure to look for 3 slender 12 pounders, as this model requires extra weight). The dial is signed as in the headline. Movement has been cleaned and re-strung. We checked with a long time resident of Paris who tells us this clock was surely in the office of the superior court appellate judge in Paris, and the name on the dial was its place of use, and not the maker.
