C.1890, French, Drocourt (signed movement), brass Gorge cased carriage clock, time, strike, repeat and alarm, as-found, from storage. Condition: the deficiencies on this clock are fully restorable; tip to minute hand is broken away; front glass is chipped above 1 (rest of glass is fine), brass case has oxidized where the original lacquer has worn away. Original silvered platform is intact and the white porcelain dial is perfect; ticks and tries to strike. A good name make that will respond well to restoration. Ht 7" [17.7cm]
