Condition: the dial, although period, is not original to this clock (mov't is original to the case). It does have a nice amount of age and looks good. The movement is die stamped with Boardman's name and 1847 patent date. The door glass is a modern, hand painted "View in Rome, Italy", well executed (at least a $100 tablet). See lot 156 for the original tablet that was supplied to the artist for copying. Has a good label. Ht 19.6" [50cm]
