Condition: Mahogany veneered case in generally good condition with original finish. There is some veneer loss on the sides of the base and along the edge of the cornice. Original painted dial is very nice, but is missing the slide up mirror. Hands are original. Case contains a large and robust strap brass movement with pewter winding drums. Feet are original. Tablets are poor replacements. There is not much left of the label and based on the movement it could have been made by Birge, Mallory and Co. Height 36.25 inches [92.07 cm]
