Condition: Mahogany case in very good condition with an original finish The case behind the dial has some paint on it caused by someone painting around the case while it was still on the wall. Original painted dial with GR VI logo is in fair to good condition with paint flaking at the edges and loss around the mounting pillars. Hands and pendulum are original. The heavy chain drive fusee movement is very clean with 1939, GR VI, and S.M. and Co. stamped on the backplate. G.R. VI stands for George the 6th who assented to the throne in 1936. Height 16 inches [40.64 cm]
