Condition: the case has been attractively restored, the rosewood refinished and the columns re-leafed. Note strap brass movement. Tablet is a proper style reproduction on old glass. Dial is new, incorrectly identified as Bennett Lewis. For comparison, see Roberts book on Ives, page 314, showing the example of this clock that stands in the American Clock and Watch Museum in Bristol. Solomon had bought the old Birge-Peck factory and that's the reason this movement looks like a Birge. Great label intact. An uncommon clock. Height 31.3 inches [77cm]
