C.1880, Modified Lot, Austrian 30 Day 1-wt, timepiece that started life as a 3-weight, and has vacant holes in the plates from the absent gears. Condition: the attractive oak case in Alt Deutsch style is very good.. The movement does tick with finger pressure, however the cord has failed; we have shown the pulley and weight in the bottom of the case. The mirror tablet is a replacement. The dial center was replaced with one from a 1-weight to disguise the absent strike trains (note various pins and springs are still present on the plates, and the seat board is cut for 3 cords). Enjoy as timepiece or purchase for parts. Nice engraved weight, pendulum and pulley. Height 90 inches [228cm]
