Condition: Stripped mahogany veneered case in good condition with poor restorations. The regilded splat is done fairly well, but not the columns; faux marbeling also poor. The original dial was incorrectly restored. Gilt front feet appear original; rear feet are new. One of the blocks on the left side of the base is missing. Hands appear to be original. Someone has made a poor repair to the wheel in the strike train that drives the fan. Key escutcheon on the upper door is a replacement. Height 38 inches [96.52 cm]
