C.1830, Jeromes and Darrow, Bristol, Conn., 30-hour time/strike THIN column and splat shelf clock.

Condition: Refinished mahogany veneered case in good condition with some minor veneer loss and repairs; screws too long for top hinge. Mirror is not original. Stenciling on the columns and splat is original (and super). Both caps on the chimneys are damaged. Case contains a Jeromes and Darrow thin movement that has had its strike train restored; will strike with finger pressure, but may need adjusting. The dial from another clock was plugged and painted by Martha Smallwood, however is too thick for this case and door will not close; will need fitting. Movement lacks hands. Would be $1000 if correct. Height 34.5 inches [87.63 cm]
