Condition: Refinished mahogany veneered case in nice condition with some minor veneer loss and repairs. Mirror is a replacement. Original painted dial has rather nice spandrels, but does have some horizontal spalling/flaking. Stenciling on the columns and splat are original. Metal dust cover behind the movement has been replaced with a couple of pieces of aluminum. Case houses a 42-tooth short pendulum movement made by Seth Thomas. Blakeslee were organ makers in Plymouth and merchandised Seth Thomas clocks. Fair label is dark with some losses and date penned in. Overall a good clock. Height 32 inches [81.28 cm]
