Condition: an interesting modern Japanese lantern style clock; although dusty from regular exposure (there is no glass nor any kind of dust shield) this heavy and well made clock is still running and striking reliably. The substantial cast frame has a medieval look, and the large iron weight has enough reserve to power the clock through the dust it bears. It appears totally original, and still has its little brass weights for adjusting the foliot. The dial diameter is 7", ht of frame is 17" [43cm] and the overall ht as shown with the weight is 30" These sold new for around $200.
