C.1830, English, Regency Fusee Drop Dial clock, with convex dial and crystal; mov't with heavy baluster pillars, as-found. Condition: the moon hands are modern replacements; pendulum is an incorrect replacement; crutch needs new pin. Movement is otherwise complete and sound. Mahogany case is nice with original finish, and with original inlay and brass trim intact. The bezel hinge has been attached with machine screws; should be re-done; bezel latch broken. The minus points can all be dealt with by a competent restorer and the clock is basically good. Height 19 inches [48cm]
