C.1835, Henry C. Smith, Plymouth, Conn., 30-hour time/strike half column and splat, wood works shelf clock..

Condition: Refinished mahogany veneered case in good condition with some minor veneer loss and repairs. Mirror is a replacement. Center tablet is original with some loss of the background. Painted dial has flaked areas about 3 o'clock. Columns have been repainted. Splat has original stenciling. Caps to the chimneys are missing. Old hands are from a triple decker. Good label. No weights. Smith was a painter and glaser; he would have bought clock components from various suppliers. Height 31 inches [78.74 cm]
