now modified to be weight driven from a chain, and absent all of its electro-mechanical wires and devices. Or we could say it is an Oak Shotgun cabinet with a Frick movement. A hole has been cut in the bottom of the case to allow the weight to descend. The pendulum is a large Seth Thomas model (Frick bought his parts from the big companies). The dial has been modified, and hands are not original. Sold for parts. Height 70 inches [178cm]
